The role of the City Clerk's Office is to process all billing for the city. They collect taxes and handle all licensing and certificates.

The Clerk's Office performs the following major functions to fulfill its mission:

NOTARY SERVICES
The City Clerk-Treasurer’s office provides a Notary service. The hours for Notary service are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A valid photo identification will be required (i.e.-driver’s license or non driver’s photo ID). A fee may be charged. HOW DO I OBTAIN A MARRIAGE LICENSE?
The City Clerk-Treasurer’s office issues all marriages licenses in the City. Proof of age and identity is required to obtain a marriage license. A person will be required to submit the following to the issuing clerk:
One (1) of the following age-related documents—Birth Certificate (Long Form), Baptismal record, Naturalization record, or Census record, and
One (1) of the following identity-related documents—Driver’s license, Passport, Employment picture ID, or Immigration record
**Please Note: Certified Divorce Decree or Death Certificate from all prior marriages must be submitted, if applicable.
A marriage license is valid for 60 days, beginning the day after it is issued. Fee: $40.00.
