FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL MY GARBAGE BE PICKED UP?
It varies on your pickup day so you should have your garbage out by 7:00am
WHEN IS IT OKAY TO PUT MY GARBAGE AND RECYCLING OUT?
No earlier than 5:00pm the night before your garbage and recycling pickup day.
WHAT ELECTRONICS CAN BE RECYCLED?
Orange County Transfer Stations should now be accepting Electronics for Recycling. Electronics are not accepted as part of the weekly DPW pickup.

Accepted items include televisions, printers, fax machines, stereos and stereo equipment, computer monitors and towers, scanners, small servers, cables/wires, laptops, cell and smart phones, tablets, video game consoles, DVD players, VCRs, and digital music players.

Televisions (e.g. Cathode Ray Tubes and flat screens), will be accepted at a rate of $20 per unit with no restriction on size. All other accepted electronics will be received free of charge. Small appliances, microwaves and vacuum cleaners are not included in this program.

No. Leaf pickup begins in October and runs through the end of November
